Responsible project in Global COE Building an alternative model for faculty development and educational improvement: Towards "Revitalizing Education for Dynamic Hearts and Minds" (Unit D)

Research Activities
I have been working to reconstruct pedagogy into a Clinical Theory of Human Formation by studying some cases on hospitalism , child abuse, etc.
The theory of Clinical Human Formation re-defines education as mutuality instead of a unilateral relationship of teaching/learning, and also defines development as lifecycle instead of as the growing up of a child. University education is one of the most promising research fields for the construction of the Clinical Theory on Human Formation. Furthermore, according to the theory, as FD is a great concern today, it could not be facilitated under the unilateral external force that employs the business-administrative/engineering model of FD. Instead, it is facilitated under mutual training. I would like to participate in Global COE Project from the standpoint of the construction of the Clinical Theory of Human Formation.
