We will host the Heisei 20th year’s Global COE “Revitalizing Education for Dynamic Hearts and Minds” Progress Report Meeting on Fostering Graduate Student Research Budgets as follows;


  • Date: Friday, March 27th 10:00AM-15:30PM
  • Venue: Faculty of Education, The First and Second Lecture Rooms (Former Faculty of Engineering Building No.4) 
  • Allocated Time:Each graduate student receiving GCOE budget will present his/her progress within 15 minutes; Followed by Q& A (5 minutes)

Arrival of a new GCOE Assistant Professor recruited through international public advertisement

As of November 1st, 2008, Dr. Ruprecht Mattig has initiated his appointment at the Global COE “Revitalizing Education for Dynamic Hearts and Minds,” at the Graduate School of Education, Kyoto University. Dr. Mattig is an educationalist obtaining his Ph.D. in education from the Free University of Berlin.
