Research Development Colloquium
In order to promote research activities of graduate students enrolled in the graduate school of education, Kyoto University, the research development colloquium partially offers financial assistance for excellent research that relates to this program in a form similar to JSPS. Adopted research projects are first discussed in the relevant committees of the research development colloquium and then are reorganized into new classes for graduate students as part of a “research development colloquium” and are formed into the class plan for graduate studies. For the master’s students, these “research development colloquium” classes are also recognized as the necessary units for graduation.
The research development colloquium has acted as a joint project with the Center for Collaboration and in Innovation and Educational Practice founded in the graduate school of education, Kyoto University and the Support Program for Improving Graduate School Education. The Research Development Colloquium has been acting in this capacity after taking over various projects conducted under the Attractive Graduate Education Initiative which had been adopted in the 2005 academic year.
