Reminiscence
: a review
J. Mohan |
In
the present review, an attempt to study the growth of theory and
experimental work in the field of reminiscence, is made, The analysis
and reconsideration of various dimensions of this complex phenomenon
yields a picture, not very clear, but promising a solid outline and
concrete details. The importance of Ir, sIr, and consolidation is
evaluated. A multifactor theory of reminiscence, with due consideration
for control and evaluation of various variables, i. e., personality,
drive, task, practice, and physiological states is put forward. Of
course, with a hope for higher sophistication in method, analysis
and theory.
