The problem of personality test analyses of creativity is raised. A list of 84 personality traits that correlate on one or another test with creativity is presented. The feasibility of static and particularistic elements is questioned, .Alternative dynamic systems are proposed. It is shown how Mallow's holistic schema of self-actualization subsumes and integrates much of the trait work. A further integrating step is attempted in which all traits are incorporated in a single disposition, a creative stance.
