Naming and Knowing: Representing the World in Language and Thought

Lehigh大学心理学部のMalt教授は，概念，カテゴリー，意味表象とその発達研究の第一人者で，第二言語学習の研究も進めています．Journal of Experimental Psychology: Learning, Memory, and Cognition誌のAssociate Editorをつとめたこともあります．

今回，慶應義塾大学の今井むつみ教授の招聘により来日し，今井教授とともに京大に来学します．

言語．思考，発達などの研究者，院生など，関心を持つ多くの方の出席をお待ちしています．

講演は英語（通訳なし）で，入場無料，参加申し込み不要です.

要旨：I present an overview of several different intertwined projects including

cross-linguistic and some of the bilingual and second-language

learning work that was motivated by finding the cross-linguistic

differences for artifacts.
